425 valve adjustment

I am doing head gaskets on my 425 and was wondering how I am supposed to adjust the valves once I get it back together.

The factory valvetrain isn't adjustable. Position the camshaft on each cylinder so that there isn't any lift on either rocker arm/lifter on that cylinder and torque the pivot down. Lubricate the sliding surfaces first.

Do you know the torque spec. I google it and found 25 foot pounds, does that sound right?

25 ft/lbs is correct. See the torque specs table listed in the "sticky" in the "Big Blocks" section.
