You can get up 17 miles per gallon (Hwy), if you keep your foot out of it.

You guys should be reading THIS thread. He's already asked this question over there, and we all who answered him got our heads handed to us!

I'm thinking short term memory loss, but he asked the same exact question twice in the same day

This is not uncommon, especially with people who are relatively new to the site and looking for a part. They'll post the part they need for their, say, '65 Cutlass in both the "parts wanted" forum and in the "Cutlass" forum, figuring they'll get better exposure this way. It's a reasonable thing to think until one realizes that anyone who has been here for any length of time hits the "new posts" link when they log on, so they'll see the new posting no matter what forum it's posted in, and all they think when they see the double posting is "ahh, a newbie."

Yup, we all did it. The other post was entertaining though, I always get a kick out of the fuel economy questions and old engines. Eric, is correct, it is smiles per mile!
