1984 delta 88 royal brougham 307 v8

I have a 84 delta 88 and the heat seem to go cold when the car is idling. When I start driving it heats up. But blows cold on idle. I have burped the rad and it still seems to blow cold. Any other suggestions ?

I should also mention the blend door is shut so the outside air does not come in

What thermostat is installed? What is the water temp? Is the recirculating valve open to the heater core?

The blend door controls temperature. The recirculation door controls inside vs outside air. Which one are you talking about?
