1969 442 headlight install

I need help on which way the head lights go in. They appear symmetrical 🤔

Thanks

There are nubs molded into the glass or a metal ring provided that line up with the detents in the light bucket. They are different between high beam and low beam.

Are you talking about the bulbs into the buckets, or the assemblies onto the core support? The assemblies are RH/LH. The easy way to tell is that each bucket has two adjusting screws. The screws go up and outboard when installed on the core support. Note that the base plate stamping has holes for either orientation, but once the adjusting screws are installed, they become RH/LH with different part numbers.
