I have to ship a 68 Cutlass S hood. Has anyone shipped on before and have the weight and dimensions?

 

I have shipped a hood before and I had to build a crate to ship it in and the only way I could ship it was truck freight and it wasn't cheap. the 68 hood is 57'' inches wide and about 74'' long and about 9''inches thick at the front so add some for crating/protection on all sides . I don't have a way to weigh my hood so I can't give you an accurate weight but I would guess it weighs all of 80 pounds,maybe more. I hope this helps and you don't have to ship it a long ways as it could easily get damaged if not properly protected
