1968-69 Fender question

Are the fenders for a 1968 and 69 442 the same? Were there any changes to side moulding(s), mount holes, emblems, safety reinforcement zones, etc? I know that a 1970 and 1971 fender are slightly different in the hood channel area but wasn't sure about 68 and 69.

The hood hinge holes are in different locations. There are actually THREE different fender styles: 1968 only, 1969 only, and the service replacement fenders that have both sets of hinge holes.

Also, while not a difference in the fender itself, the chrome strip at the top of the fender is different as well. 1968 used a two-part strip, where the front six inches or so are a separate die cast piece. The 1969 models used a single piece stainless trim strip.

Another little difference is the service replacement fenders won't have a factory cut out for the marker lights.

this begs the question, does anyone have a set of 1968 442 doors? my car was manufactured in Lansing in May 1968, it is a convertible (non post) car.
