TH400 Long Tail Need/Value

I am looking for some advise/insight on a TH400 BOP long tail trans that I have. It was rebuilt a few years back and there were less than 100 miles put on it since. I know longer have the car that it was in (1970 Ninety-Eight). Is there much of a need/calling for this trans and if so what is a approximate value of it for resale? Basically I want to know if I should scrap it or keep it and try to sell it. Thanks for your help in advance.

Key is to find someone who needs it, it would be a shame to scrap a good trans. I would think 100-150 would be a fair price since it is a long shaft.

you might want to contact a local transmission shop. They might have the correct tail shaft housing and the shorter tail shaft to make that work and an A body. I picked those parts up for one a couple years ago for about 50 bucks.

That's a great idea. It would make it more desirable and an easier sell. Thanks for the info.
