Yep, the one in Austin is mostly moderns / exotics too. Interesting to see once but decided to let them have their thing and go to other meet-ups that are more my style when I have the time.

 

Waste of time, they waved me off a little after 7 saying they were full... Once inside there was a row of Hyundai's ?
I only saw one Olds, a Gold coupe.

Last weekend at the Olds Zone show I found out there is a get together every Saturday morning in the Whole Foods parking lot at 75 and Stacy Road in Allen. It is very informal and just a bunch of guys getting together and talking cars. They have coffee in the Whole Foods Deli. It will be a few weeks before I make it but intend to go.

 

The meeting at Whole Foods is the Morning Maniacs, a loosely organized club with no rules, just bring your car. There is also an even more loosely organized group that meets every Saturday at The La Madeline restaurant in McKinney off Eldorado Parkway at Route 75. All kinds of cars show up, mostly hot rods and muscle cars, I bring either my Olds or my 34 Packard. Usually starts at 8:00 until 9:30 - 10:00, worth hitting both.

 

Heck I live in Richardson, gonna have to head North on 75 next Saturday.
