1964 Fuel Pump

Can anyone tell me how I can replace the fuel pump on my 1964 Olds 98? it is a 394. I don't believe they reman a direct replacement, but would a chevy pump work?

Chevy pump drives from a pushrod. Olds uses a lever that contacts the cam eccentric.

You should be able to find a rebuild kit for that pump ez enough. That or make a blank-off plate and run a low-pressure electric pump. If you rebuild, get a kit compatible with crap ethanol gasoline.

64 and 63 are the same pump and you can get the rebuild kit for it that updates it for the new gas. I picked up a kit off e bay and it worked out fine. Fusick also carries these pumps if I remember correctly, they should have one at Carlisle this week
