1970's
At one time I thought I wanted a GM A-body car in every flavor but with a Big Block. A 442, first of course W-30 just like the one I rode in when I was 14.
Then a 454 Chevelle SS, a 455 GTO, a 455 Skylark or GS, and the one that got away. I had a 1959 Corvette but my parents forced me to sell it. I was like 18 or something.

'90 Quad 442 Black with red interior, loaded. Actually had that one in 1990. Had to let it go

2 I've already owned but had to give up
1- A late fifties Dodge panel truck. The flathead six is even okay. I bought a '56 panel in downtown Detroit from an elderly gentleman. It was solid, except that the body was so rotten, you could pick it off of the frame.
2- One of the last Austin-Rover Maestro MGs which had the 2 liter EFI engine carried over from the carboureted 1,75 liter Triumph and Leyland trucks. Mine was a stroker and I had plenty of off-the-line torque. That and the deep rumble of the exhaust reminded me of my Starfire.
Mine looked like this, except it was left-hand drive:

My "gotta have" list;
*72 Hurst/Olds ( I want one of these in the worst way )
*71 442 W-30 4 speed, Viking Blue
*62 Starfire
*70 Challenger T/A 340-6 Pack
*97 Camaro SS 30th Anniversary ( perhaps soon in the future )
*85 442 ( one I can play with a bit, add a manual, make it look like a factory made W-30 )
*92 Bravada truck ( S10 converted into a Bravada, w/ Olds 350 and Bravada trim ) This was also Pats (1970cs) idea too, lol.

I bought my '66 427 vette coupe in '83 from my cousin to finish and sell to purchase a Porsche 930.
Still have the vette.
Still want the Porsche (now to be a 911 TT or a GT3), but now I don't need to sell the vette to do it.
Priority is to freshen my '71 W-30 (which is not an easy decision for me) it is a bone stock survivor and was my moms daily driver since new.
