Brake bleeder suggestions

Has anyone used the MityVac 6835 brake bleeder? I am thinking about buying one and looking for feedback on how good it works and how good it was made.

Thanks,
Don W

I have one I use it some times, and OK. I have good luck with gravity bleeding also. I have had a line one time, where gravity bleeding, nothing came out, that is where I used the vac pump. The pump is nice to have for othe things also, I think it is a tool every car guy should have.

I have a Vaccula (Vaccula, get it? ) unit that is very similar to the MityVac you showed. It is THE BEST brake bleeding tool I have ever used. One pass at each of the four wheels bleeds the brakes perfectly every time. You don't even need to bench bleed a new M/C - the unit will suck all the air out just fine. I previously had a hand-pump MityVac and I found that the pauses between pumps caused air to be sucked back in at the bleeder screws. The pnuematic bleeders have constant vacuum so that this is not a problem.

Of course, I got my Vaccula for $15 at the Long Beach swap meet years ago because no one knew what it was...
