New Floors in a 70 Cutlass

Hey guys.

Just sitting here thinking about a project down the road, as it were. My 70 Cutlass 4door sedan is going to need floors, and I need to know where I can get them. I'm assuming the front floors are going to be the same as the 2doors, but what about the rear floors, are they the same as well?

Year One sells(or did sell) a complete floor pan for the Cutlass, and I called and asked about it and the guy said I just had to add two inches to it to work on my car. He didn't say where I had to add it.

Aside from cutting a good floor out of a parts car, is there any place I can get floors for my 4door?

Thanks much.

Mike

floor pans

I don't know if it will do you any good but I have a complete oem rear floor pan for a 4 door. I bought it from a friend and used the two front sections for my 70 442 convertible but the rear 1/2 is perfect, absolutely no rust. I know it is a long way from Oregon to Georgia but if you can't find anything closer let me know. Dave E

That sounds cool, Dave. Would you measure it and let me know and I'll check on shipping. What do you want for it?

70 4 dr floorpan

Here are a couple of pics of that floor, as you can see I have used the front pieces on both sides. If this will work for you let me know. If you don't need the front tunnel piece then I can cut that off which will make shipping easier. Dave E

That's because he's an idiot. For the record, the difference is FOUR inches (112" wheelbase for the 2DRs vs. 116" for the 4DRs).
