olds cutlass conv

I want you guys to look at the craiglist in atlanta and tell me if this is the same car that was in the new york area about a month or 2 ago and they were asking 4 to 5 thousand for it... If it is this guy is asking 22500 and he says he restored it.. To me the red flag is why isnt it on this site ebay, classic auto trader etc...

Here's the link for anyone who wants to look. Appears to be a very nice looking car

My opinion? Don't know about previous history but I don't see a red flag just because it's not listed on ebay or classic auto trader.

EDIT: nj - you found it too. I was prolly reading it and looking at pics when you posted.

$22,500 seems high to me but $4K or $5K seems way to low so if anything the previous ad for that amount would seem suspect if its the same car.

Looks like a nice car from the listing but a little high for the market IMO. Maybe the owner will deal if he finds a serious buyer. Were you thinking of this one for sale here? https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...eme-convt.html I thought that car sounded like a good deal on a driver but looks different and not up to the level of the Atlanta C/L one.

Not the same car at all, old listing had saddle interior & top

This might bee the car Mike [slantflat] went to look at last week. Give him a PM and see. I know he drove from Stockbridge to Suwanee to look at a Cutlass Drop top. Could be the same car.

Nope, not the same car. I went to see a White 70 in Sugar Hill.

I seem to recall someone asking in these pages about a yellow 72 convertible some time ago, but pictures showed quite a bit of rust and snow tires on the back. It may have been somewhere in the New York area but I don't remember. I don't think this is that car, either.
