1972 Cutlass Convertible 455
This is the 1972 455 swapped Cutlass Supreme I have. It has 138k miles total, yet was restored with a 455 swap in the 90s. Also has a Hurst DG Shifter, and AM/FM radio with working power windows, front disc, working top, 17 inch rear 16 inch front wheels, and is fuel injected with an ECU in the glove box. Hopefully putting a 3 point shoulder belt on it soon, as well as fixing up the speakers. Enjoy the following.
Can anyone tell me the year this motor is? Hoping it's a 1970 455. Under the air filter, does this look like heat chipping the paint off or engine rust? Hoping the engine is in decent shape, as it sure runs like it.
A few problems so far are that the shifter is unaligned, so "S" is Drive, "L" is "S", "D" is "N", etc. Hoping to fix the shifter cable to it so I can actually shift into first gear manually without being in second as it effects the right side too.
