Jerr, are you getting ready for the trip to Reno for the OCA race?

 

Glad I got a few responses! Time has been limited for the message boards,I hit a few but this one has such a volume of posts that I get looking and 2 hours go by!
The new engine has been ready for a awhile,Got the Edebrock heads done up by RocketRacing last winter.......Should be a monster if it lives,We will see on that,I tell everyone that i did this one up just like they did back in the mid 90s.Hicomp pistons good heads and a girdle to hold the peices toghter lol.......The car needs upgrades real bad for the new found HP along with some general maintence stuff and $$$$$$ and time limits me getting to it......Now summer rolls around and the thought of laying on my back rewiring it just doesnt interest me as much as a cold beer and watching the granddaughter swim!..........Jerr

 

Hey, BIGJERR, I'ver been reading your posts on various sites, love the car! I"m wondering, who's girdle are you going to use? And are you going to use motor mounts instead of a motor plate this year?

I have a J&S girdle,Not one of the full girdles that you have to cut the pan tho..........Going to go with solid mounts and se what happens,Really dont want to go with a motor plate set up.........I have a few things that have come up in just the last week so the install takes a backseat again it seems.......

 

Welcome back BigJerr!! I was wondering about you too! Good to know you're still alive and kicking. It's nice to sit back and enjoy some sunshine now that the weather is halfway decent, isn't it? Always so much to do, then it's cold again before we know it, lol! I had to laugh at that "girdle" thing..... sorry, but it struck me funny cause you know I was picturing my mom's old girdle, lol! I have no idea what that is on a car, but as long as you guys know, that's all that's important!
