I always thought that at least the 64-67 cars that came with standard trans had a radiator without the auto trans cooler and did not plugs there either. I have a stick 64 radiator with no cooler provisions and my 66 Delta is the same (both original). I looked in my 66 GM parts manual and there is no separate listing for an auto radiator vs manual trans radiator. New repro radiators that are supposed to be original style can be purchased with no cooler/manual or auto. Any comments?

 

I have a 67 442 non airconditioned 3spd standard car with original radiator with no cooler provision.

My 66 442 air conditioned 4spd car with original radiator has cooler with plugs.
