71 Cutlass Carcass in Bradenton Self Serve Yard (Pics)

I stopped by this self serve yard in Bradenton looking for a ford truck gas cap and I took some pictures of a Cutlass that is just about done being picked. I'm going back to Bradenton tomorrow (Thurs) so if someone sees something laying in this car that they need I'll pick it up. That Iroc wheel in the back is probably the most valuable thing in the car but you never know. I'll check the prices tomorrow if any of those parts appeal to anyone.

You might want to grab the ***** off the A/C controls and the wiper switch. A tiny hex wrench is needed. Actually the wiper switch might be a good idea as many of the repops did not work the washers!

Not only will they be cheap (or free with another purchase), but others may need them later. Both me and another member here needed that fan switch **** a while back - was not easy to find then.
If you would rather not hold on to them, i would consider buying them of of you.

I'd grab those hood louvers in the first picture. They will probably clean up and you could probably make a few bucks on them.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will head over there at lunch and grab the heater ***** and the wiper switch. One louver is nice and the other has a crack a couple of inches long. I circled it in the picture below. Is it worth fixing? If they only charge a few bucks I'll pick up the broken one too. I don't need the louvers so I will pass them along to an Olds in need.

I stopped by the junkyard again and I picked up a few decent parts for $23.85 The nuts and bolts were free. The louvers were both shot. Whoever removed them from the hood broke all the studs off. I didn't need any of this stuff but I couldn't just leave it there.

Good score Ryan!
You even got the under column plate and ashtray door which look very good.
Good looking bright trim should ALWAYS be salvaged when possible!
If you do not want them, list them in a "parts for sale" post - I am sure someone is in need of this stuff.
Thanks for helping us out!

the ashtrays are worth something to someone so are the AC vents. I have seen control arms go for decent amounts at swap meets you might want to grab those, clean them up and paint them easy way to make a few bucks
