Need a part Id

I bought this thinking this was for my 67 Cutlass trunk. Well it's close but no cigar, I'm thinking 68 cutlass. In 68 they have 2 Part #s for the same thing. I would think convert and hardtop.
Here's the info on it,s 3.5" long and uses a barrel retainer on the bottom. The emblem has almost the same contour as the 67 trunk lid.
Thanks in advance for the help.

You've ruled out the sail panel emblems on a 1967 already?

No I haven't, but the top retainer uses a speed nut to hold it in place. I've never seen a sail panel emblem before but I think Olds would have used barrel clips to hold them in place. If any body has a emblem like this please check the # on the back. Unfortunately it's not the part# on the back that would make iding this too easy.

I just looked at 1967 Supreme sail panel emblems and the shield is open, so it's not that. I also looked at a 1970 Supreme and it had barrel clips. John

According to the latest Fusick catalogue this is:

1967 Cutlass Supreme and 442 C/S Trunk Emblem: Trunk C/S Emblem is used on 1967 Cutlass Supreme and all 442s. 3 3/4" tall chrome plated emblem with two studs, includes fasteners. Claret poly painted background and C/S portion. SE75T Trunk C/S Emblem 1967 Cutlass Supreme & 442

Could not find this in my Olds parts catalogue, so I resorted to Fusicks. Your emblem looks identical, maybe its the height?
Just a thought, it could be the CS converible emblem for the CS?

Thank you very much that identifies it for me.
I've actually bought 2 of these NOS thinking there for my car. I have a surplus of 68 convert trunk emblems.

Thumbs down Not

Actually you have two '68 Supreme four door emblems...they have the same lid as a convert!!! I have the lid as a spare for my convert or Muskrats convert, but we already used the lid from her B.C. four door on her convert... a '68 convert 442 has a rocket and a Cutlass has an "S"...
