The Beach Boys sang, "A daring young man played a dangerous game."
That didn't make sense to me: young man Craig Breedlove dead, I'm still alive. I had to look it up. Yes, he was 26 at the time.
The confusion came because I'm nearly his age, but I still feel like I did in the Hippie days (until I look in the mirror). I need to get used to those around me passing over.
RIP Craig, we loved your fearlessness.
