Well after 6 long months, I'm reunited with my 67 cutlass. Unfortunately my FiL didn't really take care of it while it was in his storage (had to replace the battery multiple times, the paint was chipped, he stored it outside instead of in a barn, and he never really started it) and I'm dealing with the issues as I get ready to sell it. The new issue I'm dealing with is none of the lights come on. Brake lights and blinkers work, but I can't get the headlights or taillights to come on.
What are the quick things to check? Couldn't find a fuse under the dash, so where else could it be?
Also, does anyone know where I can get an OEM alternator bracket for a 455? The shitty aftermarket one the engine builder put on has thrown the belt for the 3rd time and left me stranded. Im tired of it, and constantly trying to fight shimming it in line with the other pulleys.
Also a pic of my newest project, a 64 galaxie 500 sedan I got as a beach cruiser rat rod. It was supposed to be a more highway friendly car... But found out that someone put a built 351w and 4.11 gears in it lol.
Just by the look of it, it sure doesn't look like a hwy cruiser, Generally the more something is modified the more it becomes single use. That looks like a 1/4 mile rig to me.

That's what happened with the cutlass...
"Oh I'll just keep it as a cruiser"
"Well if I'm already rebuilding the engine, might as well go with a 455..."
"You know I've always thought a tunnel ram would be cool..."
And now it's a blast to drive for 30 mins before I realized I've wasted $20 in gas.
My car started having headlight issues after sitting for a while. When they don't come on, I push / pull the headlight switch multiple times and wiggle it and the lights come on. I suspect there is some oxidation on the contacts due to sitting inert for an extended period of time. Since yours sat for a time, it may have a similar issue.
