Lower Radiator hose question 67' cutlass
Lower Radiator hose question 67' cutlass
I'm Seeking advice on my lower radiator hose, 1967 cutlass, 330 v8.
The radiator has a 1.5" lower port. The new hose I purchased is 2" at the water pump but 1.75" at the radiator.
Is the correct hose available? am I missing something? When looking at new radiators they call the lower port to be 1.5" (Same as mine)
I ordered a 1.75 to 1.5" adapter sleeve but would prefer the correct hose.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
Dave

The early engines (1970-older) used a water pump and radiator with a larger lower radiator hose fitting. Almost all the aftermarket radiators and water pumps (such as Flow Kooler) use the 1971-later smaller lower hose fittings.
So it appears that someone replaced the radiator with a 1971-up version, and you will need to figure out a hose adapter solution.
