fuel line thru frame rail protection/ insulation

I am about to run new fuel lines for my 66 cutlass, what should I use to insulate the line where it goes thru the frame rail.

Couple of thoughts, actual pipe insulation from hardware or home supply. Or, rubber fuel line, slit down the side.
