Wanted to see if someone could confirm the correct part number (or at least the correct type) for U-Joints for a 68 442 with stock drive shaft/yoke and automatic transmission?

Also: same U-joint at both ends of the shaft?

I ordered from rockauto and ended up with a Moog 270 at the trans (4 smooth cups and round clips at the ends) and a Moog 290 at the rear axle (2 smooth cups and 2 grooved w c clips) and just from looking at the shaft before taking it down, it looks like I need the type with c clips all round.

Wanted to poll the group before I threw good money after bad, thanks in advance!

 

The GM part number for the u-joint is 5677659, and yes it's the same at both ends. Moog 534G is an equivalent.
