Anyone have any info on the Adirondack Nationals? I know it's full, not looking to register but I haven't been to Lake George in years. More of a south west park and Champlain guy. The website links don't seem to work.
Been going for the past several years now ,always a huge turnout. Its always the weekend after labor day i believe thurs.sept.5 thru the 8th this year.Geting a place in town is near impossible unless you reserve well in advance.Ive been pulling the camper up and staying at the state campsite on the north end of town.Ill be watching for you Zeke
I have a place over in Morehouse, Hoffmeister County on Route 8 just over an hour from there. Syracuse is the same weekend. I may do Syracuse next year. I've figured out its at the southern end of the lake now I need to figure out the best way to get in and out so I don't cook in traffic from the sun. Which car you taking? Or just the camper?
I'll be in the Viking Blue Cutlass pictured. All the rust in all the right places.
Eric I would have posted this in the clubhouse but I get the impression it's a limited viewing audience there.
the nice think about lake George there is access to 87 on either end of town . I hope to have the 80 cutlass up and running to bring up . Been working steady on it trying to work out all the odds and ends . I’ll recognize your car when you drive by . We usually hang out by the Adirondack brew pub .
went to the show on friday had a great time !the 80 cutlass ran great .did some nice burnouts. everybody was raising hell for a while til the boys in blue shut us down
Just a few photos from the show. On the grounds, at least 1000 cars there plus many on the street going up and down all day. I didn't stay for the cruise since I was way on the other side or Route 8. I had about a 1:45 ride so I bailed. My first show. Next year I'll bring the wife and stay for the cruise. Anyone who knows Frank Chiechi, he'e the guy that restores the clocks and gauges, I thought this was his car. Closer inspection, the car didn't have the rare optioned shoulder strap seat belts in the rear.
Absolutely my favorite Truck. IF I'm still able, when I retire I will get one of these in 20 series 4X4. This one was a 20 series 2x, almost there. A vista is on the list as well. I will put this up against the 57' Chevy any day of the week. This car has so much more character than the Chevy. Had a girlfriend with one of these in black back in the day.
Nice pics thanks for sharing Zeke. Love that toro actually cruised along side it heading up 87 on Thursday . That 79 h/o was for sale I think he wanted 14000 for it . Soo many nice cars up there !
