Thanks guys, but can someone look up the exact fitment in the 69 chassis shop manual? See the chart in engine tune up section 6C. I have one to sell. Thanks
it is not listed in Mondello's technical reference manual and I don't see it in the 69 CSM . are you sure you are reading the numbers correctly? what car did it come off of and do you have any pics of the numbers?
From the Jan 1972 printing of the parts book, that is a run-of-the mill 455 4bbl distributor, used on 1968-69 full size cars. Specifically not used in performance or Toronado applications.
One of my friends sent me a copy of a page from section 6C - Engine Tune Up, from a 1969 Chassis manual. It lists all the 69 distributor specs including this one. See Second from the bottom. It is apparently for high compression 455's (except W-34) My 68 & 70 chassis manuals had the same chart in the same section 6C.
except W-34
Note the W-34 option applicability for the 1969 Toronado. The standard 455 engine of this model year was a 375 h.p. engine. The W-34 option was the 400-hp engine. This distributor was only applicable to the standard Toronado 375-hp engine.

Sorry, but that's not correct. The '935 distributor was used on EVERY high compression 455 except performance versions like the W34. That means Delta 88s and Ninety Eights in addition to Toro. All 4bbl versions of the 455 were high compression in 68 and 69. As I said above, here are the pages from the parts book. Note also that the H/Os used a different distributor.
