Beach rust, not a desirable color, and that's 186 thousand, not 86 thousand. It's at the price now that you will be paying what you might be able to sell it for. The OCPG has #4 condition, daily driver, for 10.5k, and a #3 car, cruise in car show winner, as 23k. This is a lot closer to the first one. It is very original.

That's not a bad looking car. Not what I like, Auto, AC, and outside color. IF I owned it, I thing I would ask that much. In Cal it is hard to find a complete , nice car for $15K, My son has a 68 W30, basic car auto tran, has some rust issues, and a bad color as far as I like, lite blue. The Specialty car sales I have used before, I said do you thing we could get $20K, and they think they can, This car looks as good shape as my son's, and some things better.Probably a fare price. You have to think, if he is asking that much, there is probably a lower price.

not really looks like a nice clean solid original car, the color can be changed if you don't like it but a car well worth having . it will bring some money.

I have to agree, its nicely equipped and would make a great starting point for even a mid-level restoration if you were so inclined.

What emblem should be on the door panel?

Shouldn’t there be an emblem on the door panel of a 68 442? Also, did 1968’s have the piece of horizontal chrome that fits on the arm rest? Picture of the “all original” car.

'68 442s didn't use the small rocket emblem on the door panels,I think the Cutlass S did though. The armrest bases should have the molding but they've probably been replaced,The repop bases don't have the holes for the moldings, you have to drill your own. That parchment colored hard plastic seems to be the worst for standing up to father time. My buddy, Craig bought a nice unmolested '69 Cutlass S 2 yrs ago. Other than a rip in the drivers side of the seat the interior is all original & in pretty good condition but the parchment armrest bases have pretty much turned to dust!
