70 White Paint Stripe: Classic White or Cameo White?
It is time to start thinking about the white stripes for my 70 442. The PPG paint chip sheet has White stripe paint code 8631, which appears to be Classic White also code 10.
I thought at some time or another I heard that they were Cameo White, but this code 8777.
Can anyone tell me the basic difference between the two? Like does Cameo have more brown tint than Classic?
Any modern code that anyone has?
Any slightly different White with code that someone has used as a replacement?
Thanks,
Troy

Troy - For 1970, the code 10 is a "Porcelain White". Cameo White was a '69 and 71/2 color. Who knows if they're exactly the same....call TCP Global in California and ask someone there to look up and compare the mixing formulas for each year and see what, if anything, is different.
They should be able to tell you what the effect of any tint differences would be although it won't be very noticeable.
