68-72 Wiper Blade (Refills)

Hello all,
Where do you guys buy refills for the stock wipers? I see the Trico classics but it appears you have to buy the whole assembly. I need them for my 69 wagon and 72 S. Thanks.

Matt

I found those tricos. But what if I didn't want to place the silver wiper but just the rubber blade?

The ebay ad is exactly what I was talking about. I'll have to see how it slides into the wiper.

Find the part number then look it up on Rock Auto. They run under $5 (unlike that ebay listing) and I usually buy in bulk to save on shipping.

Trico 43-160 refills are $4.19 a pair:

If you just enter wiper refills in the search bar you'll get more choices by length.

These arrived this afternoon. Slide right into my trico blades without issue. Thank you Fun71 for the reference!

You're welcome. I have been using those refills since, well, forever. I worked at a NAPA store in the late 80s and an All Pro Auto Parts in the early 90s and learned about the many replacement parts for my Olds that are available from the aftermarket suppliers. When my local stores deleted the refills and offered blade assemblies for 3x the price I found the refills on RA for a very nice price.
