anyone still have their stock wiper arms?

I want to get some of the origional style refills, does anyone have a source?

I see that USA parts has some in their book,anyone ever try those?

Local NAPA has something listed but no picture,when I talked to the guy on the phone he didn't sound too thrilled about ordering if it wasn't what i would be interested in, he said it was the whole bayonnet style...whatever that is.

NAPA has their "classic series" wipers. This is the whole replacement blade, not just the refill, but I got them for my 62 and I've very happy with the way they look.

are the NAPA replacements a "silver" plastic or metal

They are metal and while not exact reproductions, the look a lot like the OEM wipers.

 

I picked up the "refills" for my original metal wiper arms at Advance Auto about 4 years ago, don't know if they still have them or not. Might be worth a look.

Frankenpez, the guys at Auto Zone actually told me to check w/ NAPA when I was in the store looking for the refills. AZ guys told me they thought NAPA still carried the refills but you needs to know not only the length you need but the width of the base of the blade that locks into the sleeve.
