Pulled the frame out of the 1968 442
I just thought I would share my weekend with you guys.
I pulled the frame out of the 68 442 over the weekend. I removed the motor on Saturday. Man that was a pain. The headers turned an easy one hour job into a three hour nightmare. The starter wouldn't just drop out like they usually do. I couldn't slide it far enough forward for it to clear the bell housing. Weird! The Clutch Z bar was weaved into the headers and pushing down on the frame. ETC, ETC. LOL. My guess is it has the wrong engine mounts.
On Sunday I removed the body from the frame. Took less than an hour. Sweet!
Sold the frame on Monday.

The frame mounts are correct for a 1968 - Olds used the same frame and motor mounts on all V8s in the A-body that year. Weaving the clutch equalizer through the headers is typical. I had to do the same on my 70 W-30.
