W Cars "Twins/Cousins" meet first time!

Nice day here in Ottawa, Canada(65F/16C), so decided to visit my friend Alain who has a freshly restored 70 Cutlass W31. First time cars have been photo'd together & almost time to put them to bed for the winter. I think the contrasting colors look great! Here's some pics:

It's Dick not Dale. Pics took awhile.
Yes, he owned a very nice 71 gold 442 & also has that 70 GS 455 U asked about.

Both of the cars look great. The colors are rare for a 442 or Cutlass, nonetheless a W-car. These colors are mostly seen on the full size and Supreme models.

Amazing how just flipping a paint, stripe, and interior color scheme can make a car seem completely different.

Now you know why color means everything to me! (not that you or anyone was wondering...!)

I know which one I'd prefer!

Here's a good example of a car I saw several weeks ago that totally doesn't interest me upon description, but when you see it in person, it shows you how color makes or breaks a car.

I think, for maximum visibility, you should start your own thread rather than piggy-back on this one.

I also would suggest to be clearer on your want, as which color is for the exterior and interior? By default, I would infer black exterior with blue interior, but I suspect you are interested in the inverse?

Was this W31 bought off of eBay 10-15 years ago from the Ann Arbor Michigan area? It's identical to one a friend and I looked at many years ago. We passed on buying it, and another friend of ours bought it and turned it through eBay?
