Hurst wheels

About to order some wheels for my 71cutlass supreme. But was wondering if anyone knew how much space I have with out rubbing to bad. I don't mind if I have to do a lil suspension work or whatever else it may take but don't Wana jack it up to make it look ridiculous. I really want these hurst wheels will. These 17x10 rims fit and if so what size tires??
Thanks for any help!!

A word of advice on those wheels. Make sure you get the color of center caps you want because when I was interested in them, everywhere I went had them on backorder.

Sorry I can't help with sizing, just wanted to add I'm really fond of the Hurst wheels. They will look great on your car.
When my orange project car gets closer I want the black ones.
Here's the Hurst wheel repro I run on my gold car.

my experience...when back space gets more than 4 1/2 to 5 inches you start having rub problems...maybe a way to not have it is to put rubber band type tires on it..

Ive put a few..and actually made a few 15x8 with a 4 1/2 backspace and a 275/60/15 tire on the rear... them and they fit perfect and fill the wheel well up nice...

back before there was a supplier...i used to cut 15x8 blazer wheels and put cars centers in the hoops to run dog dish caps..lots of work..but was really cool back then...

I am planning the same wheels on my 69 but in 15 inch x 7 or 8 so there wont be any issues, the one thing I don't like is the wheel comes all painted I would like a polished version like w30-dreamin posted, with just the centers painted gold, they are relatively cheap now, I was planning on removing the gold, and respraying the center parts with the same gold I select for the stripes of the car ( hurst clone)

Those are cool rims!

Sorry, I can't help you with the tire size question. I run 235/75 R15s on my 98 and they fit fine.
