Top Gear???

Just a general rant thread...

I have been watching Top Gear (the British version) for 20+ years now. I got into it over in England in the '90s when I was stationed over there. When I came back to the states and could still watch it on BBC America was an added bonus. Even my wife and kids enjoyed it. Think of that, an actual TV show that the whole family looked forward to watching every week!

I knew when Clarkson, May and Hammond left, the show would probably not be as good, but this is pathetic. Not only is the show no longer funny, it does not even appeal to the gearhead anymore. I never thought that I would say this but the American Top Gear on the History channel is now better than the original on the BBC.

I guess that I will just have to wait (fingers crossed) for "The Grand Tour" to start on Amazon in the fall.

I didn't even bother watching the new one. To be honest, I didn't know they even tried to continue it. When the ended, I just assumed the hilarity was all over. Those three really do work perfectly together.

I too haven't watched the new Top Gear. I did watch a show on Amazon Prime; James May's Toy Stories, it wasn't about cars but my wife and daughter enjoyed it too. It really is a bummer that such a cool show ended.
