Cam gear vs distributor gear

Anyone using a Billet roller cam. What type of distributor gear are you using to prevent any damage, and is silicone alloy, bronze my only choice. What is the manufacturer doing when using these cams.I have recently read that composite hardened gears are the ones to use. Thanks for the help.

Consult your cam manufacturer, and make sure you are running the proper lube with Zinc additive
