I have a 1971 cutlass supreme holiday coupe and am wondering if this model ever came with the optional bumper with cutouts like the 442? I've tried searching the web and can't locate any information. Thanks to anyone that can help.

 

I maybe wrong but I thought it was merely the N10 option to order it on any 2 door Cutlass S , 442 or Supreme but that is a good question and if so why not a four door ???

 

The answer is yes because of the SX. The sx had cutout rear bumpers.

I'm afraid you are. N10 was dual exhaust. Only BBO cars came with the cutout bumper, and then only on 442s and (as noted above) the Supreme SX. The only SBO car to EVER get a cutout back bumper with dual exhaust was the 1970 Rallye 350. 1972 442s with the 350 and N10 did NOT get cutouts, as an example.

 

Mine is NOT the SX, just the good ole fashion Cutlass Supreme Holiday Coupe.
