Great weather here today....got the cars out. Safe and happy motoring to all those who have endured the winter

They look happy to be out in the sunshine.
I'm diggin the front plate on the 30.

Glad you got them out.

It's the opposite here - I'm just about to put mine into hibernation for the summer. Today was 94 and it's just gonna go up from there as summer progresses.

Hehe, I still cannot get use to hearing about you Southern guys putting your cars away in the summer months....how long? Until September/October?

It's not so bad if you have good a/c and can keep them from overheating.
Big block Oldsmobile engines hate the hot w/humidity. At least that's been my experience.
Fun 71 living in AZ, is just freaking HOT.

Very true.

My car doesn't mind the heat so much. The hottest it gets is around 210º on the highway at 70 MPH (~3400 RPM) with the AC on and 110º outside temps. If I back off to 2800 RPM or so it stays at 190-ish. I'm the wimp in this situation - those vinyl seats make me sweat even with the AC on, and modern car AC systems are just soooo much better when it's 110º+ out.
