Has spring arrived?

I notice the forum has got a bit busier over the last few days.
Maybe the weather has improved enough for us to get out and get busy with our cars in a lot of places, not the UK - we are just getting over our heaviest snowfall this year, and no doubt Canada and the northern states are still in winters grip.

Am I right?, has the weather improved recently in your area?.

We almost never get extremes of weather here, but the Brits are world leaders at whingeing about it.

Roger.

Here in Texas, I think we've had about a week of winter this year, and not all at once!

We've had the mildest winter I can remember having in Ohio! We've had a few snow storms, but it's melted within a week or so. We haven't been dumped on like we usually are. Have not had any of the single digit temps or below zero temps like we usually have in January and February. Flowers have been trying to come up for over a month, buds on the bushes, etc..... Wish it would be like this every winter!

No, Spring has not sprung here yet. We just got about 4cm of snow where I live. But it's melting today. A good sign I think. Boy, having a snow blower this past winter was a waste of money....

Soon as the temp soars (sometime in March?) it will dump snow like there's no tommorrow

It will be in the 70's the next several days. Time to get outside!
Trees are budding, spring flowers are way up, and grass never all turned brown. I think it hit the coldest of 26*F once but only for a few hours...

It is 75 and muggy here in Houston area. We did not get more than 3-4 hours below 32 this year.

We have had a few small snow storms this year, hardly any rain and this is in the mountains. Come summer this place will probably burn up with forest fires. Gonna be 70 tomorrow, top down weather and my car is still in the shop....Tedd

I've heard where you guys in the UK were having a wicked winter. That was us the last two years . Well, as far as snow accumulation and temps goes.

This year has certainly been much milder. Extremly mild describes it better.

And I did notice too, that the traffic here seems higher. I guess the guys and girls have had more opportunity to work a little more on their rides, or at least think about it.

On a side note..I plan on planting potatoes in a month..right on schedule. Yard care will quickly begin as well. Earlier than expected.
