Would need pics from installed 69 Cutlass package tray

Hi guys!

Got my brand new package tray for my 69 Cutlass.

Would need different pics of the package tray in car please.

Also if you have any tips?

Thanks a lot!
Chris

I could explain but this video hows the finer points.

Just be patient and take your time and it'll come out nice. I put Dynamat down before I installed my new one. Here is a pic of mine.

Good luck!

The video didn't show you'll need to bend the ends up to slide it in. Take your time with that and don't bend too much. use the old package tray as a guide of how much you'll need to bend. I used contact cement to glue the front vinyl down and clamps to hold it in place for a day. It looked much nater than the video.

Thanks a lot for your help Paratrooper!

My car did not have a package tray, so can't really see how it was installed!

Got the one from Legendaray Auto Interiors, but think that this is not the correct part....

It seems to me that depth of the part is not quite what it should be?!!

Thanks again for help guys!

Yes, that's the wrong one. I believe it's the 20" one.

GO CANADA!

The confusion in parts probably came about as you have a 69 Cutlass Supreme. Supremes in 70 to 72 have the formal roofline and as a result a smaller package tray. Supremes in 68 and 69 have the same fastback roofline as the "S" and 442 models from 68 to 72, and therefore require the deeper tray. I would say as soon as you said "Supreme" they grabbed the narrower one, as you have indicated in your pictures. That's unfortunate as shipping charges for the larger one are more.

It may be easier to make one at this point, it is not difficult. There is a thread on this I believe. Good luck.
