Windshield windlace ?

Windshield windlace ?
So i have a guy installing back glass and windshield tomorrow, does the windlace trim need to be on before installing window or can it be put on afterwards? Thanks

I put mine on after the glass was installed.

My installer said to not put it in for 1 to 2 days after install to let the sealant cure.

run a hose over the sealing areas of the glass while the sealant is still soft. I had a small leak I was able to fix by pushing the sealant around while it was still pliable.
