Where would be the best place to get a NEW windshield for a 1971 Cutlass convertible. A used one is OK as well, I just know I have to dig around for that.

I'm assuming that the convertible windshield is different than the hardtop. True?

Also, are 70 - 72 the same?

I had the glass company come to my house and install a new windshield in my driveway while I watched.

PGW makes a good windshield, one thing to check in a windshield is the thickness, most of the cheap ones are thin, and leave a gap between the stainless molding and the glass..also, ask the installer to use the butyl tape, not the caulk..

It's just ridiculous what you learn on this site. Would have known nothing about the thickness difference or using butyl tape
