I am trying to put my wind shield wipers back on the spindles on my 1974 Delta 88. My friend took them off and they are not going back on. Before I start banging it with a hammer, any advise on how to make it fit properly on the spindle? I see the key on the side so I know it only goes in one way. Any advise?
