Hey all, new here. I have a 55 super 88 with a 324. I am looking at a 70 455 for a possible transplant. Have any of you seen or tried this?

The 324 needs a total overhaul which is why the thought came up as the 455 is readily avail. I am concerned about its size and transmission setup. The 455 is coming out of a 70 Toronado which is a front wheel drive car. Obviously I cant use the transmission, so what reccomendations would you all suggest.

This car is not going to be a concourse classic. We are going down the rod road and have eliminated most og the trim, smoothed the front turns and shaved the door handles and locks in preperation for a popper kit. All of the trimmings are intact and issue free. They will be avail for sale shortly if anyone out there is in need.
