Who doesn't love a great friend!

I went to visit some good friends over the holiday wknd and came home with some goodies for the shop! He dad passed away last year and he is in charge of the estate. His dad was a mechanic/tinkerer and had a big shop. So he made me a deal on a 80gal compressor, motorcycle lift, bottle jack press, some punch sets, mechanical gauge sets and specialty tools that I won't have to rent anymore. Also go some bulk hose I'll need for the cars. The compressor I cleaned it up and painted it with what I had on the shelf. I got everything for $550 but will give him a little extra later. Now I need to find a deal on a standup drill press and mig welder for the garage and I'll be set.

Nice haul.

That lift is Italian, probably from the late '70s. They're built like tanks and simple to use.

If you're working on a clean bike, it's often more comfortable to cover the entire top surface with a piece of carpet.

I think the lift is a Harbor Freight one. Either way I'm happy to have one. A lot of my friends got the HB ones and have had no problems. I have to change the plug on the compressor to the style of my 220 outlet. It will be a nice upgrade from my 26gal one.

In that case, they perfectly copied the Italian one, down to the color.
