I look and look and look for a scale model of my 84 hurst and the only thing i've found is a real small one by johnny lightning. Also, i've seen ertl makes a real sharp 1/18th scale Monte SS with removeable t-tops that looks pretty close, but NO HURST, come on they were so close ahhh so my search continues, but just wonderin if anyone knew of any such talk of a company making one???

When the three of you who are interested are ready to buy one!

I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. It's like anything else, if the market were there, someone would be selling these. Apparently the companies that might make a model like this don't believe that the potential market is large enough to recover their investment and make any money.

I just bought a '73 Custom Cruiser. How long you do you think I'll have to wait before I see a model of one of these? My next lifetime, perhaps?

Yes, but is he looking for just any G-body of any year or style, or is he looking specifically for an '84 Hurst? From what he says, it sounds like the latter.

Could always buy a generic one and customize it yourself.

They don't make a lot of different models any more like they did years ago. They did make a 84 Hurst, or at least something like it, but he is about 15 years too late.

i'd have to say you saw the monte carlo SS version, not sure the year but its silver with a red pinstripe, i was fooled and excited for a second, as it does look really similar to an 84 hurst, actually has removable T-tops!! still might pick it up though its REALLY detailed for only $40-50

yeah i know what your saying, although you would think there would be some demand for a complete set of hurst/olds through the years, which would include an 84
