saw a Rocket V8 in a Chevy. Saw this nice old tubbed Chevy pickup at a small car show last weekend.

 

Now thats nice. Its a dream of mine to get a Ford coupe and do the same....just like the 32 in American Graffiti.

To answer your question, it was last year I seen a chevy truck with a rocket motor. Though, thats not quite a stretch as your pictures show.

 

My 86 Caprice wagon came from the factory with a 307, though I'd hardly call it a "rocket"...
