What's on your bucket list?
Hello all,
So I thought I would start a new thread that I think a lot of us will enjoy.
What cars are on your bucket list? I recently realized I need to get moving on this. My idea is get one, drive it a few years, then on to the next one. For me, they will all be drivers, no show cars or anything I'd be afraid to drive every day if I wanted to.
1. I'll start with the car I have, a 1976 Cutlass S. I know the colonnade cars aren't for everyone, but I really like the fastback roofline and NASCAR front end.
2. Olds Toronado: I'd prefer a first-generation, but a good 70s Toro would do.
3. Olds Delta 88: Coupe or a sedan, anything from mid-60s to mid 80s (I did driver's ed on an 83 Delta 88 the dealership loaned to our high school, so I have a soft spot).
4. 1970 Ford Mustang: had one on high school, so this is pure nostalgia. Fastback would be great, but a coupe is in my budget!
5. A Big Ol' Station Wagon (would prefer a Vista or Custom Cruiser, but a Country Squire or Grand Safari or something similar would be fine)
6. A Monte Carlo (early 70s or the 1980s SS)
7. 1st or 2nd generation Firebird
8. 77-78 Dodge Magnum: I can't really explain this one, just kinda like 'em.
9. 1970-ish Lincoln Continental
And so the Germans and Japanese don't get their feelings hurt...
10. Porsche 944: When I was young it seemed like the only Porsche I'd ever be able to afford.
11. 1982-85 Toyota Celica: I just think they look cool. When I go to Cars and Coffee I'll just walk past the rows of WRXs, Miatas and BMWs, but this car I'll stop and check out.
Thanks, everyone! Please add your bucket list. I'm interested to see them.

The bucket list!!! Things I need to check off before I take that big dirt nap!!!
For my automotive desires: I want a 71 Olds 98. I’d love to build a early 80s 2 door Olds B body with a mild turbo 455, but I want to keep the A/C functional, along with all the comforts of the big car GM body on frame cars provide. I want a newer Challenger, a 65 Coronet, GTX, early 70s Duster with a rowdy small block Mopar, another 66 Nova, the list goes on!!!
As for travels: I want to go somewhere where I can see the Northern Lights. I’d love to see the Great Pyramids and a the Sphinx (unfortunately, I have a feeling I’m setting myself up for MAJOR disappointment) you always imagine the Egyptian things out in the middle of nowhere. In reality, all those things are in the middle of the slums. Australia, Pearl Harbor, the Space Needle, the list goes on.

I don't necessarily need to own or drive a wide variety of cars. Never really understood the obsession.
I will finish Drag Week before I die. I would love to get the 67 dialed in to full potential.

I would love an air cooled 911, got a ride in one once and fell in love.
mostly just get my current 442 the way I want it. Swap out my cracked dash pad, get the radio in, get the w25 hood done and install the posi…seems like enough to keep me busy for a while.
mostly would just like to have a chance to drive some cars…Boss mustang, 911, Hemi challenger, Buick GS stage 2, GNX, and on and on…just think it would be fun to ride along and see what all the cars could do through the years…
would also like to fly a B25, de Havilland Mosquito ….

In the last few years I've wanted a big convertible. I dream of a nice smooth riding car with some power on tap with the open air cruising.
When I was younger I wanted Milner's coupe from American Graffiti.

'67 Cutlass/4-4-2 coupe/hardtop w/ 4-speed and factory disc brakes. Something about that recessed backlight just hits me where I live! Could be nearly any color combo, but has to be a 4-gear with discs.

I'm with you Ken! I need to finish my current project, the project odometer just rolled over into the 10th year (purchase date 4/1/12). But there is light at the end of the tunnel as the car is currently in the body shop and ready for blocking.

"Bucket List" is for dreamers. And dreaming is not a bad thing. "Something that drops in your lap" is always good, I stopped believing in Santa a long time ago. I have plenty of things left to finish.

I’ve had my first bucket list car.
70 442. The car that got me into cars….
First day of eighth grade I walked home with a friend who’s house I had never been to. There was a red and white 442 parked in some guys yard. Second day of school I mentioned it to a girl in my class and she said, Yeah that’s my dads. Come over and he’ll drive you around
His was a 4 speed w30 Blew my mind. The car is still in the neighborhood. Disassembled in another guys garage. Rotting and not for sale
But I’ve had a faster 442 as my own . Now it was bench seat and a column shift but that’s ok
sold it to fund my 64 cutlass and 55 truck
I’d like a model a hotrod, a 55-56 chevy (or olds 54-56)
a 64 polara and a 53-54 studebaker commander and a big boat wagon (bigger and boatier the better)

When I was in junior high I used to ride my bike past this house with a barn in full view of the street. In the barn sat a pair of Shelby GT-500KRs, which I think were almost six figure cars even in 1982. I know they're Fords but still interesting.

Y’all made me remember that back in 1990 or so I got to drive a 1971 W-30 convertible, auto with Dual Gate shifter. A girl in my apartment complex saw my car and said her boyfriend’s dad had one the same color and she’d ask him to bring it by. He did and we went for a drive. I don’t think he liked the way I drove it, but he didn’t say anything and just hung on for life.

My bucket list is getting short, like others I want to keep what I have, finish them and make them really nice.
The only thing that strikes my interest would be a Rat Rod. I have it built in my mind for years, but it's doubtful in reality it will make it to the finish line before I do....Tedd
