Whats a good alternator for a 72 cutlass

I have a 72 cutlass with a 455 and air cond.I have the factory one with the external voltage regulator also using a HEI at night the voltage drops down at idle.I want to up grade to a internal voltage regultor that can handle the ac,HEI, lights and etc

You can buy internally regulated alternators from summit or jegs. You just need a one wire alternator and can get rid of the firewall regulator. I have one, they're pretty nice and clean up the engine bay considerably.
