What's the best rear main cap sealant?

What's the best rear main cap sealant?
I see the service manual calls for plain RTV on there, I was wondering if I'd have better luck with the anaerobic (doesn't require air to dry)sealant that is used on some motors. I'm going to tackle the rear main seal and need to pop it off.
