Post What type of Oldsmobile do you own?

What type car do you own?

Pure stock is as it came equipped from the factory, not counting maintenance items.
Restored stock is a car that retains its original equipment to include added factory accy's. Color changes are acceptable.
Day 2 is wheels, tires, exhaust, etc... that can be removed and the car easily turned back to original. Personalization stuff.
Slightly modified is light engine mods, minor suspension upgrades, etc
Moderately modified is somewhere in between slightly modified and full race.
Race is a vehicle built specifically for racing, not legal for the street.
Other is Olds powered boat, truck, or hotrod.

Please feel free to post pictures of your car or project.

As you can see in my signature line, I have a few performance modifications. Most were added back in the early 80s when this was just another used car.

I refer to my car as stock, but i'm figuring slightly modified is its true classification. Which is how I voted. If you look at my signature info you'll see that it has some exhaust work (true dual's etc) as well as a 4 wheel disc brake conversion.

This picture is from 2018 at Island Dragway, NJ, first time back at a track after it was rear ended to a total loss in 2016. Car ran better than ever.

After being driven by 6 high school boys, I restored everything but the back seat. I left it as a shrine

I voted "pure stock" for my 96 Olds 98 Regency Elite. I did put some fuzzy dice on the rear view mirror and a vanity plate on the front.

My 71 98 is slightly modified but it's currently for sale.

Engine mods and after market wheels places me squarely in the lightly modified category.

Has been just over a year with this 1971 fastback, placed it in the moderately modified due to a 4 wheel disc brake conversion, New 800cfm edelbrock carb and intake manifold with some new long tube headers and new rims that fit 255s now in the rear she's now pushin around 400hp to the wheels out of the little 350 and I've never been happier with this car, plus some little interior upgrades like the sound system and radio plus some brand new lowered coilovers in the front to give her the good ol rake look.

I wish the paint on my '96 Regency was in as good a shape as yours is. I did make one change....had the original leather front seat recovered in blue cloth.

I don't get around to the forums much anymore. So, I thought I had better re-introduce myself! Here are my cars...

Our '54 Super 88 2-dr sedan.

1970 Delta 88 Custom Holiday Coupe I purchased last July and sold again a couple weeks ago. It's a nice old car, but decided I didn't need a second one.

Guess I should have made my choices as all modified. The Delmont is all stock other than wheels 425 2bbl automatic.
The 1968 442 is powered by a 455 with a two 4 Offenhauser intake and a 4 speed.
The 1968 Cutlass is powered by a 455 and a turbo 400. Joe

As of today I'd say slightly modified. 1970 cutlass base its had 2 bbl removed and intake with holly carn put on, headers and dual exhaust and a fiberglass hood. Hopefully in the next couple of months I'll finish steering put in new rad get trans rebuilt and rebuild the engine. It's not a good pic but it's the only one I have on this phone.

Restored/re-created, the way it was bought new by John Molnar from Rund Oldsmobile in September, 1966. It is in Senior Preservation with OCA.

I love the 70 two doors. Had a buddy in high school his parents had one. If that car has green interior and a 455 it would be it's twin. NICE Joe

Here's my moderately-modified Vista Cruiser. I bought it from the original owner in 1983. Colors are still the same but I have changed a lot to suit my vision of how the factory should have built them for dads who wanted a 442 but needed more room for the family.

Nice looking wagon. I always thought the Vista Cruisers had great lines.

1970 Olds cutlass SX . I just upgraded to an HEI distributor and at some point before I bought it there may have been a bigger cam installed and there was a 4 barrel rodchester carb put on.
