What are these worth of? ( Cut. Conv ´83)

So this has been sale here for ages, and is still for sale.

http://www.nettiauto.com/oldsmobile/cutlass/4734476

Im not myself interested about that, but the seller boasts about 150 g-body conv. ever made? And hes never displayed even an estimate of price-range.

So wondering, if this is really rare piece, and what would it be worth approx.? Quesses?
Im not interested enough to call him for nothing since im not buying it, just thought to show it up there, since i havent
personally seen another pic of conv. g-body when sailing through Oldsmobile sites.
Scoop could be easily replaced with another bonnet.

It's not a factory piece! Possibly ASC, or Hess and Eisenhardt. Or some other smaller job shop. Value????

To repeat what Pat said, because your English may not be perfect:

General Motors never made a convertible G-body of any kind.

The car in the advertisement was modified, possibly by an aftermarket company, and possibly by an individual.

It's value may be difficult to determine, especially in Finland, as there are so few of them, and part of the value may be determined by the condition of custom-fabricated parts that cannot easily be replaced.
It does appear to be in good condition, and the modification appears to have been done well.

I think most would agree that this is a toy, and not a car, especially in Europe.

Well cars that old are 99% toys no matter the marque. Okay, some drive 80's Toyotas regularly.

Good info about that not being factory-made, that makes sence since i havent seen any other yet.

1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais rare Convertible Olds hot rod street rod classic for sale

If you like a RARE classic. this Olds Cutlass Calais just might be the car for you.
GM did not make convertibles back in 1983. but they DID send a very few out to select coach builders to convert to a convertible. Dealers were also allowed to use the GM selected coach builders in order to sell the Cutlass convertible as an option. Select coach builders had to be used so they did not compromise the structural integrity or warranty of the car.
Texas Ragtops was one of such select coach builders used in the process. and this Olds has the Texas Ragtops badge affixed to the door jamb. Since the conversion process was quite expensive. there were not many conversions done. which is good news for the collector car owner today because of the rarity that affects the value of these cars.
This beauty features a custom leather interior. new convertible top. as well as boot. It comes equipped with the 3. 8 liter v6 engine and smooth shifting automatic transmission. power steering. brakes. windows. and seats. The air conditioning needs a re-charge. and the cruise control quit working but might be just a fuse. All glass is in very nice condition. the owner says the car runs. drives. and stops great. and the entire car shows no signs of rust anywhere - including the undercarriage. He also states that the mileage shown on the odometer is actual although the previous owner checked the non - actual box on the clear Ohio title.
There is a stationary antenna in place. but a new poser antenna goes with the sale. There is also a built in CD/DVD unit in the dash. so you can listen to your favorite tunes or let the kids watch a movie while you drive. The paint is original and has lost it's shine. but it really appears that with a little buffing effort the shine might come back. The paint is certainly presentable as it is but would look nicer if polished. While not cheap. you may be surprised at the amount of reserve for this rare opportunity to own a very RARE convertible.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of auction end with balance in full received within 7 days. Balance must be paid in cash or bank wire transfer to obtain immediate release of car or title. If you have less than 3 positive feedback call FIRST before bidding or your bid may be cancelled.

That gives even more details if thats true about selected builders.
That particular car sale in Finland has ( believeing the seller knows his stuff) posi, hot rodded early 70's 350, electrically operated roof and adjustable rear shocks + custom interior.
